Lionhearted means "brave and determined." My mission is to help families find their confidence in the everyday things postpartum. 

Bravery can look like taking that first outing with your baby and it can also be reaching out for help. Together we will become lionhearted in this journey. 

Often described as "mothering the mother." 

A Postpartum Doula provides non-medical emotional, physical, and informational support in the immediate days, weeks, and months after a birth.

While we do offer newborn and family care, our main function is to support the birthing person after birth/adoption.

Ideally, I would love to meet you and your family before you have your baby. This gives us multiple opportunities to build a relationship and tend to the many things I can help you with before birth, labor, or adoption. 

Most families reach out at the beginning of their third trimester.

While some clients are 1st-time parents, you absolutely do not NEED to be! I will support you whether this is your 1st or 5th child. In fact, one of my specialities is helping support bonding between siblings and the baby.

I am located in Santa Rosa, CA but I offer in-person support in Marin and Sonoma counties.

I am a fully trained Postpartum and Birth Doula through the organization DONA International (formerly Doulas of North America).

I have chosen to spend my time in my community supporting families instead of certifying. 

I have supported over 25 wonderful families.
