Lionheart Doula Services is owned and operated by me, Milan Gray Faccenda. Originally from Southern California, I moved to the Bay Area 10 years ago. I spent 5 wonderful years in San Francisco as a professional nanny. My passion for supporting families eventually led me to postpartum doula work. I have been fully trained and certified through DONA for Postpartum and DONA trained for Birth. I also trained as a Lamaze Childbirth Educator in 2020. While working together you can expect knowledgable, tender, and down-to-earth support for your entire family. 

What is my doula style? 

I strive to blend into the unique flow of your home and family. For this reason my support style looks a little different to each family and even on each day of support. For some, we focus most on baby education and birth parent's recovery, while other families need my nonjudgemental listening ear and expert advice most. I try to help parents find humor in the hard times and find joy in the everyday wins. Sometimes we cry together and sometimes we laugh. I'm right there for it all.
